Everyone's insurance has gone up across the board, in some cases by over 40%.
Just shop around, that's all you can do

christ it was only a couple of years back i was getting under £300 for modified quick cars. the last quote for the I.s. was truly shocking. the audi had to go for the £500 they wanted for that. really dreading what the track tool is going to cost this year.

'88 e30 328i M52 track bint.
always the way come renewal time. My dad's renewal went up by £150.00, shopped around and the best deal was still about £20 more.
my swift costs me £534 a year for 15k miles and full business use, BMW is about £30 more for the same cover.
confused.com has always been good for me in the past but its looking like cheaper renew prices on there is a struggle.

We're paying for all the uninsured coonts and the flood damage etc from a couple of years back.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

£129 fully comped for me & mrs with lancaster for past 3 years under classic insurance and this year they wanted £630, wtf! Apparently none of their insurers want to touch e30's, so the d***head said so shoped around and now paying just shy of £400 with Co-op, non-classic so no unlimited milage boll ox, all you can do is shop around and pray.
here's a cracker, Honda Jazz 1.4 EX (2009 plate) fully comp 12k miles a year, 62 year old driver, full no claims- £1573.45, i couldn't even laugh i was that shocked. (my Dads Quote, was paying just under £200 with breakdown included).

I'm pretty happy with mine.......
£351 to insure my M50 E30 touring with coilovers, banded steels etc etc (all mods declared).
With footman and james on a modified classic policy.
On my daily compact it was the same as last year, circa £400.

My E30 went up from £180 last year, to £300 on this years renewal with Adrian Flux. So i went on-line, and hey Presto, Adrian Flux quoted £180! I call them to take it up, and they told me Adrian Flux is different than Adrian Flux on-line. They took the ref number, checked the quote, then renewed my policy at £180 to match the on-line quote.
You just have to accept thats what you have to do at renewal time.

Just shopped around and swift (my current insurer) want £650 to renew, £150 more than last year. Enter my details online and they qoute £500!!! Insure wiser actually rang me as the qoute of £420 came up on the screen and the lad on the phone got it down to £370, cheaper than last year. Shop around and keep your fingers crossed.

Just insured mine with admiral for 10 months at £670, not too bad to be honest as in only 20, but ive adjusted everything to get the price down!
Keeping it on the driveway is cheaper than in the garage did you know!
Best bit is they seem to have forgotten to debit my card even thought they have pasted docs
may have to keep this one on the quiet!!!

SDM that"s steep almost vertical think they make it up as they go along . missed out on a 325 vert last year before i bought the 320 more door insurance would"ve been £150 F/C for the vert in standard guise cheaper than the more door
