just wondering where people bought there silicone hose kits from.

im going to buy a kit but theres loads of different manufacturers and not sure what to go for.

are good for hosing.... company was started by an ex employee of samco and charges less for hosing... most of the time you're paying for the name and not the product

they dont list an e30 325 application on there website. ill have to ring them. cheers.

anyone done a conversion to an electric fan. just wondering where you got your bits from. cheers

I have a leccy fan mounted in front of the rad.I just use the quick mounts which push through the rad fins. IIRC it was liberated from cavalier tdi and cools the car down quite rapidly.
I use a Revotec adjustable controller in the top hose so the fan only come on when I've been sitting in traffic traffic.It doesn't present the same sealing issues as the probe type controllers.

Re where to obtain parts..

Revotec contoller came from Rally Design(comes with jubilee clips,relay and wiring)
Fan mounts came from Ebay, but can be sourced from Kenlowe/Pacet/Spal

Fan came from a local breakers yard(tested onsite) or you could opt for one of the offerings from Kemlowe,Spal or Pacet.

Best to avoid the cheap ones from Ebay, as they lack efficiency, as proved by a mate who had 1 fitted to his M30 conversion.
