Here's a few pics grabbed from my camera today, obviously not many of the E30's as we were all running, but I threw Billgates my camera at the end of the day to at least get a pic or 2 of my own car. I think Neil's brothe took a few pics, so maybe more to come.

My boss turned up in his Mustang for a run out, it ran 18's looool

I was really pissed that i couldn't get there today Lee, but something i started yesterday had to be finished this morning, which took all day

some good times with a 30 mph headwind !

It's on tomorrow, which is the first round of American Superstock, so you could get a proper yank fix tomorrow.

I've got some awesome vid of me racing dan twice, taken from inside my car looking across to the next lane.

1st one looks across to the right and shows me serving Dan off the line before he comes sailing past, then a bit of a naughty burnout on the access road after we had finished our run.

2nd one is looking out my passenger window as Dan was in the left lane, I got him off the line as he was trying a launch in 2nd (which didn't work) so he never came past on that run.

Only problem is I seem to have messed them up when trying to edit them down in length before hosting on youtube

Seriously though thanks to Neil, Mick & Dan for taking the effort to travel today, hope you all felt it a worthwhile trip out. I love the place, even though it is shabby as hell, it's friendly and you get much closer to the action than other strips. Was kind of jealous of Billgates stood there this evening with a can in his hand with another day of it tomorrow and a pish up tonight

Not long got in and im sunburnt to fook, but only on one side

Great day, cant wait for the next one

My best times were two 13.7's and two 13.8's all at the end of the day after spending too long trying out different techniques to get off the line, it really is hard work! None of these were in the 0-60 lane though Dez, my best in that lane was 5.6 and in the 14's same as Lee's chariot, they both got off the line at more or less the same rate, 3rd gear is where the extra guts really gets you going though.
Trying to launch in second is a mistake, it either bogs down or spins the wheels for longer, this is my favorite vid against the Chevy donked 5

Got a call from my boss earlier this afternoon.

Obviously the shame of getting rinsed yesterday with 18 second 1/4's in his 289 Mustang had got to him, so he'd gone back today and had taken his Bentley Conti GTC, I think he said he'd done a few 12 second passes before he lost signal on his mobile. Another one with the bug

It was more than a red top Mick, it was down on the sheet as 2500cc, I think Lee reckoned it had some sort of V6 donk up front
