Did the Supersports have a bulge in the rear valance, thus making it a genuine one ??

Or was I fed BS whilst sat in the pub car parks with my Mini 1000 :o:

super sport had the bulge.. it was there to allow the larger spare wheel to fit in the tyre well.. unlight nowadays when they close the tyre well down to fit in a tin of puncture sealer!

That thing minding its own business is one of my top 5 favourite cars and takes me back to when i was the luckiest 15 year old in the world and had custody of a Lux version for about 5-6 weeks. It was a K reg in a mauve'ish almost black colour with perferated (< seriously wrong spelling)recaro leathers. I don't think i stopped smiling for weeks even when my girlfriend told me i was i stupid prick and a weirdo for wanting to keep driving all night instead of sitting at hers. Silly mare winkeye

Supersports are sweet little motors and pretty  especially the tidy ones

This takes me back :D

I had a silver Fiesta supersport with two tone grey stripes, good times in that car. Then went on to buy a sunburst red 83 mk1 XR2 that got nicked-demorseled and burnt out. broke my bloody heart :(
Then went on to buy a late Caspian blue mk1 XR2 with RS 7spokes 8)
