Can new cv joint dust covers be got? We dismantled the whole rear axle to give everything a once over and the dust covers are a little grubby looking. The local motor factors can supply me with the rubber boot, clips and oil but they don't seem to have the dust covers.

If you buy the right boot kit it will have the grease, caps, bands and boots. At least mine did, I also have a set from BMW dealer here that have the caps on already.

Yeah the metal caps. There were none in the kit I got from the local motorfactors. I got a wrong kit and it had 1 metal cap but the 6 hoels were to small as were the alan bolts.
