Ok I tried to fix the valve clearances myself, but its not made any difference. It still sounds terrible and still only does 17MPG. Its also really straining to start, how very dull :(

So can anyone recommend somewhere to get it serviced in West London?

Cheers

Ps While I'm at it, I think its time for new shocks, don't need anything too sporty but not boat like for a 325 touring?

Give Jason a call on 0208 5703600 I can't for the life of me remember the name of his garage! But he is based in Hounslow and comes HIGHLY recommended.

Mate try BMW3 (BM West 3). They're in Acton, Bollo Lane to be precise (just round the corner from Gunnersbury Station on the Piccadilly Line). Ask for Riyad (he's a qualified BMW mechanic of 13 years who set up his own business). Same skill as those teefin' dealers but much cheaper. Known him from school and he's sound.

I've got to go see him next week for my motor. Welcome to come with me if you want?
