M50 fuel rail cover sit lower?

Im using the M52 fuel rail with M50 inlet and the top cover now sits too high.
Is it a case of chopping the plastic supports and rebonding them on lower?
How have you done it?

I believe so mate, I just leave it off, stainless fuel lines dont look bad :D

i just cut the support bits at the bottom off drilled through the cover and fixed it with a bolt, paint the bolts black and it looks ok.

Mine went on with no mods and I don't think it looks too high
