As the title says, I'm looking for all the parts needed to convert a LHD E34 M5 to RHD.
The obvious is the dashboard, console, steering rack/hoses but there's more to it.
Please reply here or email me on francisco.santos (at) jrsantos.pt

I'm afraid that I'd need the parts to be sent to me. I'd obviously pay before having them collected.
Would you please contact me on my email.

Sadly not, E34 M5's have extended leather as standard so the dash with all associated trims/glovebox and front centre console are all bound in leather which are LHD/RHD specific. The dash loom is also M5 specific as the M5 has an oil temperature gauge in the cluster. The steering box is the same an all E34's but the linkage is M5 specific as its much thicker than standard E34.e21Jason wrote:I guess most of it is generic e34 apart from the steerign box, and exhaust manifold. BMW only made in the region of 700 RHD E34 ( 3.6 & 3.8 ) M5's so these parts are hard to come by !
Replying to your email now Francisco.

Extended leather was an option over and above standard leather , even on an M5. Your customer Frank, is obviously a very sick and more importantly caked individual. I hope this folly is being carried out on a nice touring, not some sorry old 3.6

Yes, an Elekta to be precise. There's no other way around it as LHD's are not allowed to be driven where the car is going.pacerpete wrote:Extended leather was an option over and above standard leather , even on an M5. Then he's wrong.tomson wrote:The Swedish fella who runs the M5 registry told me all UK cars had the leather dash and associated bits as standard the only option being an alcantara head lining ?
Standard cars had half leather with cloth inserts. Full leather was a £3000 option.
