I'm guessing it's down to the solenoid, haven't really looked at it to be honest. Can I just go to the scrappy for a replacement or it something a bit more technical than that?

I've had this problem for months but I haven't been driving the e30 so hasn't bothered me
but basically my petrol cap doesn't unlock on my central locking system. I have to be full stretch with my key in the drivers lock, turn it whilst pulling on the cap to get in there!

Not sure where to start mate, but I can send you a replacement off the racer if you want. It's still in there even though the fuel tank is in the boot and there isn't even a pipe behind the flap! lol
