Paul I got a sneak preview earlier today. I had a moment in the middle of a busy reception. They are the fooking nuts. My motor looks good but yours is going to be the total package. Amazing attention to detail.

Future wish list for the chromie.

+1, beats a wire brush and a tub of Alismart!
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Dan popped round Friday afternoon, so the engine was mated to the front crossmember ready for fitting.

i had already re-fitted the oil filter housing, belt tensioner, alternator, power steering pump, air con condenser, bracket and belt tensioner. Plus power steering bottle. The block recieved a lick of paint too.

Just waiting for a few parts from the dealers and the engine and box will be in soon, can't wait..... :D :D

The project makes me wish I had time to do the same!

As far as I know Paul, you're the first/only person with....

A - WMS 280x22 brake kit
B - 16" Alpinas

...in the same place! winkeye

Haven't had a chance to confirm if they fit have you? You didn't opt for the 2mm spacers from memory? I know people have said from using the PDF profile that the kit does just fit, the PDF does have the spacer fitted though as that's the correct "E30 offset" so it would be good to know if it fits at "-2mm" as well.
WMS E30 brake kits! (4-pot 280mm & 300mm front / 2-pot 290mm rear)
