M3 evo manifold?

Just wondered if anyone has tried to fit the e36 m3 evo manifold on m52 in the e30?
I know its a popular mod onthe e36 site but just wondered if it would clear the steering linkage better than the m52 manifolds? :?

I would say prob not on a right hand drive car mate for sure! Its bad enough having to chop m52 mani's to clear everything, and don't the s50 boys have to spend like £2000 on mani's to fit these shells??....
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D

As above really, I have fitted the s50 manifolds to a m50 in a e30. It is a nightmare of bending, cutting, welding and bodging. The bulkhead also needs modifying (hitting with a big hammer). All for no real gain, except the sound!

No probs lads, couldn't find anything about them so was just an idea :mad: Got the m52's for mine anyway so will see how I get on :) .

BTB is the only way to do it properly, I wouldnt even attempt to mod an S50 manifold for a RHD car, I know for a fact id never be happy with it,,,,,

Just buy a LHD car like i did, only have to modify the rearmost pipe that way. You do have to kind of learn to drive again mind, its just not natural.
No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.
