awesome looking car. What colour is it, im guessing brilliant red but in a couple of pics it looks a little too dark but then in the frontal shot it looks a little too light, almost henna like.
whatever it is it looks awesome, the contrast between red and black really sets it off. one of the reasons i love the e30.

Thanks guys, finally feel like all the hard work has payed off!
Benny - Tell me about it! Apparently, BMW are waiting to get enough orders in to run a 'batch'. I have tried everywhere, but have had no look. C3 said they thought they may be getting some in mid-april, but it hasn't happened yet.

Thanks Beardymat, it's Zinnober Red.
The sun was really bright and most of the pics were only taken on my iphone.

I was going to guess zinnober red but i wasnt aware that they did that colour on M3`s. explains why i thought it looked dark. I cant remember seeing that colour looking so fresh since i worked at the dealers back in the early nineties, even then most cars had a distinctly pink look to them.
Might add myself to the grille badge list to see if it helps.

e30topless - Yes, Zinnober was available on M3's also. My painter has got tons of pics of the work on his computer, I have'nt got around to getting them yet. To be honest, the car was really good when it went in. It just had a couple of dings down the sides off car doors and stone chips on the front wings/bumper & bonnet.
It does look better in the flesh. The colour is so deep and rich.
Yes the seats have been re-done. The car used to have cloth and the previous owner changed to leather. As you have probably noticed, its not the correct stitching for the M3 but they have made a fantastic job of it and I couldnt justify getting them done again really just to get this correct.
Thanks for all the comments guys, makes all the hard work worth it!
Jim.
