Hi guys, I have recently completed my m52 conversion, but have found that when driving hard, the engine comes forward and head butts my rad, I believe I'm using e34 528i engine mounts which I purchased new for the project, anyone have any better ideas for a stronger mount, as I've now fitted a bigger rad for improved cooling... M5 or polybush Im looking for a quick fix as I can not wait to have a wee skid in her again
Thanks mat

Hi fella"s, I am not using viscous fan
I am using a front fitted pacet
Electric fan and e36 328 auto rad
As I was having over heating
Problems with a smaller rad and
the engine still hit that also..

Hi, I will try and get some pics up for you ASAP, I can not remember exactly which engine arms I'm using but I never bought any so they were either m20 or m52 engine arms
With e34 m50 engine mounts which were purchased new for project.. I also have a serious sump clearance problem
I havnt hit it yet but it is only a matter of time, and am thinking with e28 m5 engine mounts ( hockey pucks ) this problem would become worse as it is a shorter mount???

Eurocarparts in Cardiff are nob smokers, will not do nothing without reg plate or chassis numbers
Yeah they are cocks mate but I had no reg number when I ordered mine! I simply told them I wanted e28 m535 rubber mounts, then I popped over to sytner on penarth road to check the oem part numbers were right. Happy days

Yer man kool,
And don't listen to them nobs in euro parts mate!! You don't need a reg for fuk all other than the fact they are lazy and can't be bothered to look on their system for what you need! I went in and told them straight, "I'm doing a conversion on an e30 and why would I have a reg number for an e28 or whatever?... Cars I've never owned"!
But the fact you have 1 now is good lol
