I just bought an e30 convertible and the roof is leaking from the front of the passenger window and at the two rubber joins at the back of the hood. I can't afford a new hood right now is there anything I can do? It appears to only be when the fabric is saturated with water. Is fabsil worth a look?
How much damage will a bit of leaking water cause?

I used spray grease and it's worked as far as I can tell.

Glad it worked ...make sure you give youre roof a good clean before you treat it ...otherwise you will seal the dirt in...m0gsia wrote:I used spray grease and it's worked as far as I can tell.

Hey there, just bought an e30 320i cab and have the exact same problem....
Was wondering if just changing the seals would solve the problem, if so where can I find them????
