(Not sure if this is technical question or not...)

I currently have the sill trim removed from the Touring, which means that the small factory holes in the sills are exposed to the elements. It's been raining a lot in these parts lately and I'm a bit concerned about water getting inside the sills and causing rust. Should I be concerned? Is there a way to dry out the sills once moisture is in there?

Thanks.

Don't worry about it, the cills are designed to fill with water, (from the front sunroof drains).
Just make sure the drain slots remain clear.

You sure about that? I thought that the front sunroof drains emptied behind the front fenders--just in front of the front doors.

I looked along the sills and couldn't find any drainage holes. Pretty sure they're sealed... (?)

Every E30 I've ever stripped, the sunroof front drains just end inside the cills. Take out a front speaker and you can see one.
