Still looks like I'll be there, trying to convince the better half to join me by bribing here with an evening meal there!

Quite looking forward to this - hope the traffic isn't too mental and my exhaust repair holds out- looking forward to a nice laid back cruise up the A38

Well............
A big success all round. 27 folk, 14 cars. Five E30's, a CSL, three E36's, ZM Coupe etc.
Thanks to all the Zoners who turned up including a surprise visit from Herr and Frau Daimler in the 2.7 Neon Convertible. Excellent food, and the last car left at 11pm. Weather was overcast but dry.
Next one is first Monday in May....which is May 2nd.
20 cars in the car park?

T'was good to see old friends and make a few new one's!
I've a couple of photo's in the camara,I'll stick them up tomorrow sometime.
Really enjoyed examining the first RHD touring, and possibly the last built/regestered one as well!
Venue is far pleasanter than Squires, with a range of decent beers.

Felt a bit like the prodigal son returning to the fold as It's been a good couple of years since I last attended a BMW meet. It was really good to see some people we already knew and the rest didn't bite either. Overall it was a top night and our table creamed the raffle prizes too.

Bit dark,I'm afraid....
Capri-Rob's touring is lurking behind the white E36 thingy!

And Cheekychunkyfunkymonkey's very late 316i touring,62k miles and very, very nice indeed.Supplied by North Oxford Motors.

You are 6 minutes away according to my sat nav then....bloody thing....took me to Worksop, out on the A619 to the M1! About 60 miles going...came back via Mansfield, failed to keep up with the coke drinking Andyboy, and Newark in 44 miles and less time as well.Coops90 wrote:I'll try and get to one of these if my 2 door ever works again.
Pretty god damn close to me too, I'm only by junction 29a.

150 mile round trip for me including going up to J31 on the M1 to meet Sweep - £35 in fuel worked out at about 26mpg - not too bad as I gave it the beans on the A38 on the way home
