I know of a place in north wales that provide a prestige service when it comes to refurbing and spraying wheels.

Anyone fancy having them done, let me know

:)

£70 is very very expensive.

I can get them done by a company round the corner for £40-£50 depending on how bad the wheels are, plus i can do them myself perfectly well.

Bearing in mind labour is anything from £40-100+ an hour and paint isnt cheap, surely £70 a wheel isnt that ridiculous?

I would want some reliable references before handing over wheels to be refurbed for £40,
'Buy cheap buy twice' comes to mind?

MMM, I won't say what I paid for these then. But it was nowhere near £70 a wheel.

i'd want to see why some one is charging £70 for a £15 wheel for a refurb and what they do differently than the rest

anyhow no one will offer a 3 year guarantee, most offer one. also, powder coat doesn't flake off

do you know whats involved in a wheel refurb and where the hell do you get a £100 an hour labour price ? thats main dealer prices for servicing a car not for acid bathing wheels, a turn on the lathe and dusting on powder coat ffs !

BTW,

BJV engineering charge £130 for a set of 15" BBS's in standerd silver. their work is pretty good as well, spit an polish want £180 for a set and they are average at best.
lepsons want about £200 but their work is better than BJV

the best diamond cut lip i have ever seen has been done by Diamond Styling.

different wheels cost different amounts to get done, but the comical factor- was that it was posted as if to be helping out people to get a good deal by a good place with good rates, which its the opposite really

ive currently got my other set of bbs being refurbed gold with a polished lip,its been held up a bit longer than i expected, but got given a brilliant mates rates price for the jo but they usualoy only powder coat black or silver unless big orders, and theyve had a problem getting the right gold and right amount of it not a mass load, but will be worth the wait i feel , no rush anyway as i got other things to finish 1st and dont need the new set of tyres expense right now and they are for the summer, 1st of may i think il put them on 8)
