Link to the video racing a mates 225 quattro tt up the strip. Considering my engine was only around 190bhp out of the factory and is now 20years old, I think i did quite well to keep up

Right, I'm looking to renew my interior as my seats are quite tatty...
I'm after a pettern like this :
http://www.google.co.uk/m/search?site=i ... seats#i=50
My question is, can I buy seats like this or can I buy the replacement covers and do it myself?
Any help appreciated

Your link displays a tiny photo of a ghastly orange E30, no seats. But looking at the search results there are some photo's of E30 sports seats in both leather and cloth.
The cloth ones appear to be the checked pattern often found in 318is's so you may well find a set for sale somewhere. Leather ones also come up for sale but for slightly more, obviously.

Looking good.
Got to ask tho, is it really Calypso coz it just doesn't look right in the pics. I'd have said it was Wine Red, which is still a nice colour.

Right well it passed it's mot saturday and one of the advisories was both ball joints worn. Now I want to replace them and done a little reading and found it's probably more cost effective to replace the lower arms. Is there any good modifications I can do for example updated bushes that's worth doing? Or a specific model of lower arm?

I don't think you can replace just the ball joints... you will need to replace the whole wishbone. Get some Lemforder wishbones from ECP or the like.
You will also need new wishbone rear bushes (lollipop bushes). Polyurethane bushes are much easier to fit than standard ones, which will need to be pressed in. Some people opt for 'eccentric' wishbone bushes to increase castor and sharpen up turn-in. But to be honest I've no idea if you'd notice any benefit/difference on an otherwise standard E30.
Make sure you have an alignment done once you've completed the work, too

Have you got a link to the ECP arms? Also I want to be able to tweak the suspension setup of the car so any adjustability is a bonus. I will be getting adjustable top mounts in the not to distant future aswell...

Mine is a 325, is that the same setup as the 318?

I'm not sure if there's any difference (they will certainly fit!) but they do list 325 items on the ECP website. Use the above links and change the option to 325 items to be sure.

yeah, I hadn't stiffened up the damping back up so it was a bit wallowey, but the corner was a very tight 180 with quite a fast entry so was scrubbing off alot of speed...
