I'm preparing for the m30b35 conversion and while preparing i'd like to upgrade suspension and brakes. I have the suspension already sorted out with weitec spring/strut kit with 60mm lowering. Now i should do something to brakes. My idea is to take the main brake cylinder ftom the e32 750i (as it has a larger diameter) and frint calipers from the e36 325i. The calipers should allow me to use 286mm brake discs. I'd like to find out should the custom caliper mounting brackets be made and from what car/make the discs could be used (possibly with some minor mods like cutting a bigger centre bore)?
Thanks
Andrew

to increase braking force you need a smaller diameter master cylinder, not a large one.
you need a larger diameter slave cylinder
other than that sounds good mate

Agree, but with a smaller master cylinder the pedal would go further, so if larger slave cylinders are used then the master cylinder sould be larger too. Some1 knows the diameters of slave cylinders of the e30 325 and the e36 325?318-is wrote:to increase braking force you need a smaller diameter master cylinder, not a large one.
