woke up this morning to discover some little pricks had done this to my car, it dont just stop there though, it goes right the way down one side of the car real deep too, IM MAD!!!
two other cars, one my nextdoor neighbour and some one a little further up the road got the same treatment too. took it for a quote today and with me not being fully comp its gonna cost Ԛ£1000 to put right.

what do i do as i gotta pay it out me own pocket?
does that price sound right?

this pic was taken after id filled it with black t-cut so it didnt stand out as bad as it did.

Scum bags, these yobs need a good slap!

Keep an eye out over the next couple of days/nights as scum like this tend to return to the scene to show off to their 1 cell mates...probably on some kind of drugs...

...anyone passing, check out their expressions etc...

...if you are outside when some yobs pass by, engage in conversation about a reward for the culprits....they might need a fix!!

Good Luck

WTF? Where do you live? I can't for the life of me understand why someone would want to do this. Breaking into a car and stealing stuff, ok, there's personal gain involved. This is just beyond comprehension.

Jealousy. Pure and Simple on a nice car.

But my Dads old car (and several others) near us were done a year or 2 back. And none of those are particularly good. So its just stupidity.

Its such an English problem though. It just doesnt seem to happen in other countries

Gutted for you mate.....why people feel the need to do this is beyond me!

Ԛ£1000 seems a little steep to me. Whereabouts in Essex are you? I know a good place in Hitchin Herts, which is about 15-20mins from Harlow, Essex....let me know if you want the details.

Good Luck

Sorry to hear about this man, I know exactly how you feel. Someone scored my last car real bad, 6 or 7 huge scores along the whole length of the passenger side, cost me 300 to fix. i was quite lucky that they werent too deep and very easily flatted out. Made me feel sick everytime i thought about it. i'm a great believer in what goes around comes around so whoever does this kind of thing will get their reward one day :thumb:

1000 seems a lot for that. The little pricks should be made to pay, a years salary for them. Watch out as has been said they will probably come back to show their fellow useles friends. :x

It seems like this happens quite often, in a few minutes a few of us have responded with stories, craping hell its very sad, we put so much effort to make of our cars something to see and some twat comes to ruin it... no es bueno

You havent upset anyone or as someone else mentioned had a barny with someone in the area!

When I was younger and maybe got myself into a bit of stick with another motorist, I used to take a long detour home to hide where I lived because even in the late 80's, this type of retaliation was heard of! Only one time did someone nearly find out where I lived, I watched them drive past a couple of times but the car was in the garage! (boys with their cortinas eh!)

Thankfully now, I dont get into such squabbles, but always keep an eye on who is following when I get close to home, instinct kicks in

330-singh, im in colchester mate.

i took it to 2 places and both said the whole side needed spraying, plus the bonnet and both wings to make it a good match with the colour.

thing im really peed off about is, i was going to sell it soon as i need the money for my new car winkeye winkeye, but it aint gonna be worth much as it is so looks like im gonna have to get it done before i sell it.

and no i try not to upset anyone tbh mate, but other cars were also done in the road so i dont think its me just a random hit i think, i hope.
weird thing is, all the cars have been scratched the same pattern on the bonnet and scratched all the the passenger side on all the cars, but didint touch the drivers side or the boot.

what w*****s, they need a kickin. I thought it was just the bonnet, if its the whole side and bonnet then Ԛ£100 isn't too bad i think, but you never know what your gonna get unless you have seen the guys work.

so sorry for you - I had a different car keyed a few years back (in Eastleigh) so I know how you feel; totally beyond me, but as mentioned above it is a UK problem; I blame the TV - all the crap programs about getting something for nothing rather than working for it; no-one has any respect for others or their stuff anymore.

I bought a new BMW from Belgium (Verhelst) a few years back (when the prices were REALLY different), and the girlfriend and I were going to drive round and see the country for a few days. As the car was unusual for the time, I asked Mr Verhelst about leaving it outside in towns overnight etc... he just looked at me uncomprehending; I asked again thinking it had not translated well; he had understood the words; He replied 'no-one will touch your car in Belgium'.

So gutted for you, that is so out or order. Little scum bags need hanging for that! Have you thought about putting an ad in the wanted section for a good bonnet, that might only be Ԛ£50-100 then the side would have to be done at a bodyshop I think.

Once again so sorry that we all live in a shitty world these days.

What can i say that hasn't already been said! It's just a shame you never catch them in the act. They done it to my flip cab. They done half of one side, then came back a few days later and fineshed it. The paint on that car is Ԛ£250 a litre so i cant afford to get it done again. They also scraped the side of my Polo with what looks like a bike handle, so i know just how you feel dude. Trouble is if you find them and give them a good slap, it's you the Police will come and arrest and nothing will happen to them. The law in this Country favours the criminal more than the victim, but you know what. If you catch them and need a hand crushing some skulls then bell me. I'd happily do time for the toss#rs :( winkeye
