Just had a Z3 come in. Not charging. Replaced alternator. Still not charging. Also now the battery light doesn't come on with the ignition. It has also had an electrical fire. It had an illuminated gearknob that was wired to the stereo. Not sure if this is connected.
After replacing the alternator it still isn't charging. Is this a duff alternator I've been sold or is there something I'm missing?
