Can someone tell me why the down pipe wont fit/bolt up on the manifold,

The down pipe is off a 325i or so i'm told

and the manifold is also off an M20




As you can see the bolts on the manifold are off centre to the holes on the downpipe,

What can be done about this?

manifold and downpipe are from different 325's or 320's early and later ones differ slightly you would need a matching manny or downpipe for either one of yours

the log is from a f/lift 320i and i was informed on here that it's the same as a f/lift 325i one.

what's that zaust from ?

is that a two piece system ?

You're right Mick, 320i 325i facelift manifolds are the same,

And the system that I was trying to bolt up to the facelift cab, is a 3 piece scorpion system


So is the downpipe to manifold flange different on a 2 piece system to a 3 piece system??

my standard down-pipes are not connected together by the flange.

I'm going over to have a look at a couple of manifolds tomorrow and i'll be taking the down pipe with me, to see if i can get one to fit...
