Dezzy, don't suppose you can take a few pics of the clutch fitted to the flywheel? Or is a e21 flywheel different to the e30 one? I've the same clutch as above, was sold to me as a e30 325 item, not quite 50 pounds though!

Yeah sound if you get a chance would be great. I can always put up a post if I get to the point where I will need to put the fly/clutch on the engine.

Started at 3.30.
Finished at 4.40.

Strip down, box out, cover off, plates swapped over, lined up by my eye and box back on first time. :D

Box is bolted up with the linkage and c unt clip back on. Prop is back on. Just need to finish off in the morning 40mins to an hour will see me finish I reckon.

Thanks Dan. As ever you advice was bang on.

I am even going to treat myself to a few bears tonight to celebrate. :D

2.5 hours for a 24v E30 clutch changes isn't bad for a tyre fitter. 8)

I take it by looking at the pics, you took off the the linkage clips, slackened the engine mounts, dropped the g/box mounts, prop off, and tilted the lot back, that's how I do mine anyway, can get to ALL the bolts then :D

No Rav with a correct valve engine it sits right up against the bulk head. You cannot tilt.

No use trying to guess as you are not even close.

It's a wind up guys. :D

There is no big secret. You have been CR24ved.

Subframe has to come down Steve. Also inlet manifold has to come off. Heater pipes are a fooking issue too. To be honest it's alot of graft.

Well it's all back together. Went to start it and starter isn't meshed. Grrr

The warden was rattling the keys so had to leave it. :x

Will sort it tomorrow, need to do rear topmounts too.

I hope I get this turd finished soon! :D
