Wheel spacers

What size spacers would people recommend i use for my Azez K alloy's i'v got....
fronts are 16's, 7 and a half J 4x100 et 30
Rears are 16's 9 J 4x100 et 30
Planning on running
215/40/16 on the front
and
225/40/16 on the rear
And i'v got a 55/40 drop
I know im going to need spacers but what size can i get away with...
3mm 5mm 10mm 15mm?
Ta

Most 16 x 9's (Borbets etc) are ET15, your 7j fronts id be aiming at around ET20.

Your 9j's will end up sticking out of the arch with the Et so high
and running spacers.
If you need to run spacers, run Hubcentric ones.
If you need to run spacers, run Hubcentric ones.

Lee, his 9j is already et 30 mate, not 15 as yours is in the pic, still a 9j, but the centre is off further than yours was, so adding to that pic, wheel will stick out the arch atleast 10-15mm more.

But any further out just wont cut the mustard with my style of driving,
whats the smallest spacer i could get away with without them sticking out further than those in the pic?
or would it just not be worth it?

15mm spacer will be fine, shouldn't be too bad.

What tyres are you fitting??
And are these Azevs K's been bought from Germany???

the higher the offset the further into the car the wheels will sit, the lower the offset, which can go past 0 into negatives, mean the wheel sits further and further out into fresh air.
starting off with a higher offset than you need gives you more options, personally i'd bolt them on, or offer them up and see how much clearance you have around the inside of the wheel, you might get away with a 10mm spacer which would mean less chance of tyre to arch problems.

I got the wheels off here Rav, and they look much much better without the centre cap

Tyre wise... If I can find them I'll be running the old goodyear F1's
and if not I suppose i'll have to settle for the toyos

So could i use 10mm spacers and have them just that little bit further in, so i can keep the -40 lowering springs on the rear, but get the aches rolled?
When i test fitted the 9j on the rear it only just caught in two places when the wheel bolts were tight..

if it only lightly caught then yeah, you could probably get away with a thinner spacer. i can't say for definate as it's not a combo i've tried. might be worth making some temporary spacers from washers or something just to bolt the wheel on so you can rotate it and check for clearance before spending money on spacers and finding they don't fit!
i think you can get 10mm hubcentrics but you might need to grind a little off the nose of the hub so they sit flush, i think 12mm is where hubcentrics usually start which should still be a useable size.
