I absolutely have ! It came off my '87 pre facelift 325i so should be a straight swap onto a tech 1. Was very suprised when removed at how good it is - 100% leak free and no corrosion - it will clean up to look like new.

I imagine it will be a striaght swap, mine is a little damaged some idiot has tried to lift the car using the fuel tank

no leaks but just not good!!! you got any pic just to make sure it is a match, if it is bring it along for defo

Will post a pic before the weekend but will just bring it with me anyway - if yours has the external fuel pump under the passenger side sill near the rear wheel, and one cut out in the top under the seat for the sender it is the right one.

Ollie's Sport isn't on the road yet fella, still tinkering away with it. Oh and he reckon he hates driving the 316i so doesn't fancy coming in that (reckon he's just scared of getting lost

Alas my touring is still undergoing work but have another council touring I picked up the other week..
If weather is good, I get up early enough, the wind is blowing in the right direction and if I score some 25mg Vallies I may pop up.
