Alright people!

I wanted a rough price guess on how much a estoril blue 2dr convertible e36 m3 evolution would sell for, it has covered 26,000 miles only used during summer has no wear whatsoever not a mark on it! Only used during the summer and kept under a cover ina garage otherwise. In otherwords its close to perfection! Engine bay you could your dinner from! If I've left anything out please inform me, I am not trying to sell this vehicle I'm close to purchasing it just interested in how much I'm looking at. Thanks in advance!

£7000 to £10000 at a guess but you are in e46 m3 money at the top end of that.

Without seeing any pics, £6k doesn't seem a lot for this type of car.

I've just got mine back on the road after 18 months and the trip home reminded me how good it was, so much so that I've decided to keep it.

Ignore the sceptics who will tell you about the fragile engine & box, if it is properly looked after it will be fine. I've had mine for over 6 years now and apart from a failed smg pump, it's only needed tyres and brakes.

2 bits of advice - make sure that the fluids are properly warmed up before you give it any beans and ALWAYS get the vanos filter & washer changed at every service - I'm sure both bits in total are under £10 but they could cause you heartache in the future if not replaced.

i was going to say that you'll pay a big premium for something with so few miles, and it'd only be worth it if you were planning on keeping in to a similar standard and not pile the miles on.

however, at £6k it's a bargain! (assuming everything is as good as it should be) so you may as well buy it and do whatever you like with it!
cheers,

harry

well the thing is, i am not even sure if the e36s will ever be as desirable as one of the e30 m3s.. i just dont see it happening (biased talk or truth?) if say we had a time machine and jumped forward 10 years the car surely has to of gained value (kept at its current state) instead of losing it? its in great condition as you can see in the pic below

i know its not a great picture but you can get a rough idea on how it looks, only gets used during the summer has a full service history, only ever been kept at a 40mph speed limit. Would it be a smart move for investment? still havnt sorted the deposit out yet. in two minds at the moment. also thanks for you advice baur and harry.

A low miles minty Evo convertible is a nice thing, and should be worth something in a few years when they are all hanging out of their arses..

The main problem the E36 M3 has is that it is the model after the E30
