4 stud to 5 stud conversion, best way to do??????

Hi guys, i' ve been offered a set of wheels for nothing but they are 5 stud not 4, whats the best way to change the hubs??? i 've been told that 5 series front hubs and bearings go straight in, is this true and if so what is the best way of doing the back end, any help much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No quick, easy, cheap way of doing a 5 stud conversion properly. You'll either need the entire suspension setup from an M3 - £1200+ or a combination of E36 compact rear disc arms and M3 evo hubs, wishbones, offset bushes and a few other parts most probably at least £500+.

The cheapest way would be PCD hub converters but the wheels would need to have the correct offset to allow the 25mm convertor....

I'm working on this at the moment just need to pop down the local scrappy to get the parts to test. 300mm.de are selling what they call special hub bearings for this. But as far as I can see they are using E34 hub bearings for the front. For the rear you can use the E36 hub bearing. The only downside seems to be you will loose the ABS because the E34 rings are too big so you need to remove them.

that sounds ok, havent got abs anyway so not to fussed about that. next question though is what brakes to use as obviously the discs are 4 stud aswell? :? :?
