after spray protection

just been mentioned to me that cellulose paint oxides's after spraying and that protection products should be applied after polishing, anyone know what products they are?

All paint will oxidise eventually, not just Cellulose, you only have to look at solid coloured E30's, they would most likeley have come from the factory painted in Acrylic, look at some Corsas too even 5 year old ones, some of them have started to oxidise. I think what we have here is a classic case of a little knowlege being dangerous. Have you recently had a repair made with Cellulose, it would be very unusual for a bodyshop to use it. I would personally treat it as you would any other paint, it all needs protecting and cleaning.

i sprayed it the other day actually, new to spraying which is why i used cellulose, anothewr member just shit me up abit by sayin that i had to get the paint protected as soon as i polished it?
