Probably been mentioned on here hundreds of times before but having trawled through 20 or so pages havent found one yet!
My fan is working on all the numbers but sounds like something has come loose/undone and rattles ridiculously on all settings and is not exactly effective at blowing out heat!
Any advice!? Or can anyone point me in the direction of an article on here previously?
Almost forgot, the car is a 325i Convertible (H).

Sounds like the hub of one of the plastic fans may have broken up, allowing it to come loose on the motor shaft. Take the bulkhead inspection panel off and have a look!
