I like the idea of a leggage rack though. Ideal for convertibles, in place of a roof rack.

What's the law on not having bumpers? I've got a friend with a V8 Capri project who wants to take his off.

I just don't understand the 'rat look'. To me it just looked awful. But the driver looked happy enough!

It has to be the furthest point sticking out from the car.(only exception is tow ball.)

Its a 'safety' feature rather than styling.

My dad had a luggage rack like that on his E30, great unless you needed anything out of the boot...
