Hi All,

Need some help with my 325i, I recently removed my dash to repair some rusty bits. Thats all good and i have put everything back.
Only issue is that my Rev counter and OBC have now stopped working. All other things on my dash are working, speedo, temp and fuel. The OBC has nothing on the screen but the back light is illuminated. Rev counter does nothing....

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

If your SI board has NiCd batteries, the chances are that they've died while they have been without their charging supply.
Take out the cluster, open it up, remove the coding plug on the front, remove the single screw holding the retaining clip, slide out the SI board and check what kind of batteries it has.
Put it in the freezer for half an hour, then measure the voltage across each battery.
