Hello.

Yet another power hood with problems!
I was told that the micro sensors for the hood motors need resetting.
Does anyone have any idea how this is done?

Thanks guy's!!!

I have taken the complete system appart. There are 5 microswitches.2 on each motor and one on the near side frame. They are all used to tell the black box control unit located in the boot when the motors are at the limit of their travel and whther the hood frame os down or up. These are normally factory set and should not need messing with. Advise only fiddle if you know what you are doing and its not going to rain!!
Hope this is of use.

I just played with the allen screw in the boot and was able to power up the motors. It's a silly mechanism anyway!
