There is a customer coming soon to get his motronic ecu upgraded to map sensor.

This will allow the use of turbochargers without any restrictions to flow or fitting aftermarket ecu´s or piggybacks.

This would also work for non turbo cars of course for any type of work.

What is the interest level in this being commercially available?

What is required is the appropriate map sensor and air temp sensor which are 60quid+VAT and then a mapping session on the dyno. Which is 300quid + fitting time.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

I´m sure there is.

Just have to find them and get them to do it. There is no magic involved.

I'd be interested, but I live in a country far far away
However, if there would be a kit with pre-programmed maps for my engine, I'd most certainly buy that...

This is a no go.
