SouthWest Meet Crapstone & Princetown 20/03/11

After another great meet & turn out yesterday, i think its time to start thinking about the next one.

Anyone with any idea's for location & date's are all welcome.

I will just chuck my idea in & say i think a meet on Dartmoor would be good.

Date of meet is now confirmed for the 20th of March.

A few more ideas from other forums.

The only other option I can think of to cater for 30+ cars would be where Mike used to hold the early meets. I think it was called "The halfway House" pub IIRC. Don't know if you were about then.

OR - we could go Princetown? On the main drag that goes up the side of the prison is a large car-park or there is the "Plume of Feathers" Pub which we drove to once and that car park is of a decent size.

OR - There is Crapstone, which is an ex-airfield which you might know better as "The Rock", theres lots of little areas gravelled off which we could take over for a few hours.

What does everyone think ?

Right the meet is now been decided for thr 20th of March.:thumbsup

To be held at Crapstone (The Rock), then down to Princetown after for some food & then a nice drive across the moors for whoever is up for it.
