changing my open diff to lsd tomorrow. are the backplates interchangable? the backplate on the open has a polybush in it and will be easier to take this bush out to replace with z3m bush than removing original e30 bush from lsd backplate.

Cheers for the replies. Got the diff fitted and locks up really good but had troubles trying to fit z3m bush. It is slightly ovalised. Has anyone fitted one of these bushes with no issues? Had to stick with the polybush, I have heard complaints about these but I'll Have to stick with wit for now.

I fitted one of these without any problems, just pressed it in with a vice:

mine would definitely not go in. I put a little chamfer on edge to help line up and slide in easier. when I lined them up ready to press in I could see light between two opposite sides and fouled a bit too much to risk forcing it in on the other 2 edges. not had a chance to measure it yet but it was ovalised.
