Got a e46 318i saloon 2001 mainly a family car want to lower it but don't want to ruin the ride any ideas any 1 or could I put a 325i sports suspension kit on it from BMW

All coupes are fitted with the Mtec springs not sure if they are interchangeable.

all coupes are not fitted with mtec springs and there are different springs and shock for different models and different spec levels

Are you sure - according to realoem and bmw fans they dont list separate part numbers for coupes based on the varient. I replaced a spring on mine last year and that was the information i was given. :?

depending on wot spec the car is and whether it is a 4cylinder 6 cylinder etc

Personally I wouldn't go any stiffer than the factory MTech kit, unless you mainly use nice smooth roads.

Eibach do Pro kit springs which lower 25mm front 10mm rear (near on the same a M tech) and they do Sport line sprigs which lower 30-35mm front 15mm rear but in reality they are lower.

Another thing that will affect how low the car will sit is the spec. If its loaded with options then it will sit lower than a basic one.

I have eibach Pro kit springs and Bilstein B4's and it sits i fraction lower than M technic, rides better and handles the same. A very good combo imo.
