i used this today on the car and fek me its wicked!!
the whole system cost like Ԛ£20 or you can use it in just a bucket of water which is what i done, and the shampoo alone cost Ԛ£3:99
the finish is spot on, no need to dry with a chammie and there was no streaking whatsoever, iv got a bottle of auto-glym and this flash stuff is much much better
imo
so has anyone else used this?

It may be easy to use, but it'll strip off all the protection from the paint... ie. all your polish / wax (if you've got any on), etc.

I'm not even going to attempt to try it...

I'd rather spend 6 or 7 quid on some Zymol or Zaino car cleaner fluid and know I'm not harming my bodywork (when I've got a decent car to worry about stuff like that!)

Suppose it's good if you're a lazy car cleaner type person (no offence intended)

Autoglym is standard stuff in a fancy looking bottle.

Using better stuff to start with will keep your paint looking good. Good quality polishes and waxes will enhance your paint also...

i could be wrong and it may be fine
but i know that for several months your supposed to really look after your paint and wash and protect it carefully as its not properly hardened i think for ages months

Today's modern paints are catalyzed, so unless the body shop tells you something completely different, you'd be safe to wax within 7-14 days. Hold off on polishes/abrasives for about 30 days.

that flash stuff is very harsh
i wouldnt use it myself
its marketed as mr.clean in states
same product as they dont use FLASH name there

i know a very very experienced detailer who is a tester for all car cleaning products
when he used it he saw the colour fade in the cloths he was using to wash with this stuff

the cloths were 6 months old prior to test and he has never had colour fade before or after this product

after he tested it on car that had had meguiars applied to it it had stripped all the meguiars off!!!

meguiars do some good car wash shampoo and id say the SOFT WASH would be a good option

i have seen it used and thought it was pretty crap as it took the coloured turtle wax of my next door neighbours car, therefore removing any protection offered by it. i'll stick to the bucket

buy 1 use then eat your words its got polymers in the wash and it uses deionised mist to leave a steak free shine i should know i used to be a pro valeter he he? also they may be muppets on mtv but they know more about modding motors than any1 here i think>

but i can prove that that shampoo WILL strip most if not all of any wax that is on your paint before use

i can link you to guys in the states that detail cars to concours condition for a living and i stand in awe of them
these guys are always looking for an edge,something better something to raise their finish.they try every product that is launched just in case its the one that will raise it for them.
all and i mean all slate this with a vengeance.it is not good chemically.

please stop and think about it .would a WONDER product that suddenly revolutionises car detailing suddenly be available in ASDA for 15 quid.

everyone has their own expectations from a product and if this reaches yours then iam happy you found it and the makers of Flash will be even happier.
its a proven fact that strong dtergents strip wax period

this product is a"this will make the average joes car wash on a sunday "quicker product and mean less effort
we are a lazy race by nature and this means people will buy it

there is technology there that does work to some degree
Zymol make a water deioniser that is very effective in preventing water marks as water dries but this is not a quality product
you only get out what you put in

20000 dollar cars means nothing
id want more than that for mine!!

iam glad your happy with it mate and power to you

but there are others out there that may want a little more and may even know a litlle more too.

im laughing all the way to my garage to get the auto dry wash my car and my wifes car and its the best theyv'e looked so dont see how its so bad . had my eyes tested at the optitions the other month and they said they were better than average may be they got it wrong or maybe sum1 else did

Good idea not to use any silicon spray's for a while as well e.g Tyre shine, dash clean etc
As i have found out this does not do the paint any good at all cos you start to see dimpals in the paint work like little bubbles have burst and you can see it with the nacked eye, at an angle.

All they do is filter out all the magnesium, flouride, chlorine etc out of the water removing the hardness, thus making it purer.

The harder the water, the more impurities, this is why your kettle etc collects scale, more so with the hardness of the water in your area, because the water boils off leaving these impurities behind.

HTese impurities are what mark the paint.

true dionised water is boiled, the condesed into sterile tanks and it is then checked for any ionisation (should be free if condensed properly).

ionisation is where the water molecule has a different static charge than it is supposed to (i.e.not balenced) and will be either positive or negative, thus causing reactions and/or attracting other chemicals.

we use stacks of it at work for the sterilised cleaning storage bottles and tanks beofre they are filled with electrolyte so that they do not become contaminated from the water.

however those filters are good enough for most applications, especially car washing etc. tehy are basically just a water softener, which can be bough to plumb into your house beofre the supply enters your house so it does not colg/damage any tof the pipes in your house as they clog up with scale, they are quite popular in the states i am led to believe, although i do believe they are available over here.

technically, that is a little basic, and true deionised water is created differently (like we do at work) but in general it is the impurities in the water that give it is ionisation so taking these out will in efect make it more or less de ionised.

so there treminology coudl be taken as true, as it is to a degree, but not wholeheartaly. basically it is the same as using soft water
