I would like to retrofit heated front seats. I have the kit (BMW one) but my question is how to fit the elements under the cover. Do these have to be secured by glueing the element strips to the base.

If they are loosely laid in time they could move under the cover.

I recently retrofited heated seats into my cabby using the BMW loom and switches. If you encounter any problems give me a shout :D . The hardest part was running the cables under the carpet as it's not that flexible!

Thanks for the info. I think it may be a while before I get around to fitting it.

Waeco actually made the oem kits!!!

There is a way to get the waeco loom to work with the oem switches as I've never been a fan of the cheap looking switches they supply!

I have recently fitted the waeco kit, and am absolutely loving it! just need to get hold of the oem switches!

If you haveany questions let me know! also try searching on here as a few zoners have fitted them!

Cheers
