Been thinking about some Azev A's for a while now, but don't want to go for them if they bend easily or are poor quality. And yes they will be 17"
What width do they come in and what size tyres do people normally fit?
Thoughts please?
Many thanx
Andy

I'm fairly sure they're 7.5J and the correct size tyres would be 215/40/17.

on the contrary, bending is good - as opposed to cracking. Azevs, not so light, not so weak, about in the middle, but personally I don't think they're worth anywhere near the rate they sell for - imo£40 per wheel tops, tires on top.

17" or 16" and normally 7.5J wide. You can get 9J wide on the 16" in 4x100 but rare
Nice wheels and suit the E30 IMO

Azev A's are a very good rim. Not the lightest around but pretty good though. IIRC they were branded as a lightweight wheel back in the day but not sure how they fair these days. They are a quality wheel though so light(ish) weight coupled with higher grade manufacturing materials. I had an unfortunate affair with a kerb (car or kerb- f.ing E36 owners!!!!) which put a nasty ding in the rim but thankfully didn't crack. 'Furbed out with some professional treatment and balanced normally after without the need to add extra weights.
A's come in 7.5" and 9"x16 and 7.5" 8.5" and 10"x17 I believe. They were available in 15" and 18" also but cannot remember off the top of my head the widths.
Azev C's were similar but had a more rounded spoke and had Azev scroll engraved into one spoke. A cheaper version of 'A' and looked it!!!

I'd go for 16x9's if I was going to buy these again. I had 17x7.5's and the ride was poor, but they did look good. Didn't have any problems other than that. Also with 16's you'd have more tyre so the wheels will have an easier life.

Iv had 2 sets of these both on e30`s with no problems whatsoever. Had them on both cars for 4-5 years. Quality wheels and getting harder to find a decent set 2nd hand.

Can you get 16" x 9J then? Seems odd that they would do these and then do 17" in 7.5J? Nice if they do though
