Part of the Fathers Day Harewood Vintage and Classic Vehicle Rally.
This will be the venue for 2011 BMW Car Club North East Region 'Concours of the North'.
http://www.harewood.org/
We have booked a huge 150 car stand and would like to invite you all to come along and join us.
You don't need to be showing your car in the concours to come and park your BMW on our stand.. and it's a much cheaper way of enjoying the show - tickets are £5 per car full, payable on the day to Andymac or myself - we have bought 150 showfield and grounds passes and will give them out on the day, first come first served.
We are on the same plot as we were last year with it's own 'all day' access via Church Lane which runs from the main A61 all the way down the back of the showfield directly to our stand. (you may have seen some of the showcars using this entrance in previous years). There is no need to pre pay or pre book and don't go paying on the gate like all the other visitors. Use our dedicated entrance and buy your ticket on the BMW Car Club stand.
This is a fantastic day out and one not to be missed, so pack up that picnic hamper and come to Harewood House near Leeds on Fathers Day and see some of the finest BMW's in the land battling it out for the silverware.
Showcars - no need to book, just try and make sure you are on site and set up for 9.30 am

Events always clash, especially in the show season - We always do this one on Fathers Day now, have done for a number of years.

We had already booked on the BMW (NE) Club site. so don't count us twice![/quote]
No problem, it's only a list to show willing.
Are you coming down with the lads that meet at the Dun Cow?

Just a quick bounce,
Remember - dont buy any entrance tickets until you get on the BMW Car Club stand.. we have already bought them.
Just pay us when you get there - £5 gets the car full in for the day! - if you use the public car park you will have to pay £10 each person
Some people still keep asking is it just for show cars - No it isn't, it's for all BMW's
See you all on Sunday

hi, I will try and get down for this, couple of questions though;
- If I am not showing my car (but want to get it in the stand with the other E30s) do I still need to arrive for 9:30am?
- What time is the show on until and once parked up does the car need to remain there until the whole thing is done or can you leave any earlier?
Thanks, Ben

We have the benefit of all day access so you can come and go as you please.
There are no guarantees of where you will be parked. The guys that all park together usually arrive together

We are normally ready for the trophies and raffle prizes by around 4pm, but that's dependant on how many cars we need to judge.

Yes of course you can still come.
There is no parking plan. We park you up as you arrive.
Best to meet up with the others and all arrive together if you want to be next to one another

We had 100 cars on show by 10am despite the rain.
Fantastic turnout again. Best stand at the show maybe?
What about the E30's though, where were you all? I had earmarked a generous amount of space for you but only saw a couple of zoners all day
Winners
Master Class, Avus Blue E36 M3 Coupe
Pride of ownership class, Boston Green E36 M3 Saloon
The Modern Classics class was won by an E23 followed by an E28 and an E24 in third
Regards
Nick
