Drop The Retro, Essex

Hoping someone on the Zone might be able to help me out here. I've done a search, it seems several people know 'Drop The Retro' in Essex, and have said they are a good bunch of lads. I need to get hold of them and can't, so I wonder if either Chris is on here, or if someone knows him and can pass on my number.

Their published number on the website doesn't work, I've sent an email and had no reply, I've tried contacting them via ebay on one of their live auctions and again had no reply.

Just a bit of background - my E30 is in one of their two workshop/barns. I left it with a guy called Syed who I thought was representing them, but I now don't believe to be the case. Basically I started an M30 conversion on my Touring, got into bother and couldn't finish it, found Syed via ebay who was advertising E30 conversions and he has so far appeared to be a stand up fine fella. He has now apparently disappeared....and I want my car back. As of two weeks ago, I know my car was still in their workshop, so I would like to talk to them to see if they know anything about whats occuring.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I know exactly where the workshop is, I've seen my car there being worked upon, and just under 3 weeks ago I went there to find out whats going on. Both workshops were locked up, but I'm told by someone in another 'unit' (it's effectively a set of little units on a farm) that Chris is popping back regularly, and that Syed, the guy I've been dealing with, is often there in the evenings. However, he hasn't been back there for a couple of weeks.

Right now, I just want my car out of there - then I'll worry about getting it finished.

Thanks swindler, already got that info from that source myself, phone number is a dud, haven't yet been to that address. Appreciate your help.

Hi mate, if you can get me the address I will chat to a fellow zoner (Essexboy) and see if he can swing by. He is often around that area iirc.

Hey we were in there the other day and spoke to the guy who is dealing with things at the mo........ apparently chris has disconnected his phone and has now got a pay as you go to which no one seems to have a number ....... we have a very good mate in another unit down there and he has said as soon as he sees chris he will get his number for us as we need to speak to him urgently too........ Clay also keeps popping in there as he passes everyday, as soon as I have his number I will pm you it hun x
