Just had a call from Steve to tell me how utterly undriveable my car is even in the slightest snow, had it come round on him on a motorway slip road
Tried ringing you Scott, steves going to come to mine in his van so if you come in the 5 we can still go down.

Plan is, its still on mate.Alot of people who said they were coming havent commented today which most likely means they wont be there, but a few others have so should have a few of us there atleast.
Jim,
It's totally foul where we are, i'm going to give it a miss today mate, do some painting. Hope you all have a good meet.
Cheers,
Jon

Was a good meet, food in the pub was good too, nice venue.
Came away feeling a little ignorant once again as we didnt get chance to chat to everyone but thats what tends to happen i suppose, still there is always next time when maybe a few more e30`s will turn up mine included.

Good effort for a wet Saturday afternoon in Febuary!
Bit of a novelty with all the pre-facelift action instead of Tech 2 Sport overdose

Cheers for coming girls.
We should make a extra special effort this year with getting about to meets...
Not sure when Rav wants to start the next one up but i'm ready when ever.
Dont want to step in and make another one as its Rav's job.
But I definately think we should tour around the midlands this year, making sure we have one in each major city or something.

Good man Rav.
I'll have a look into locations in Derby or Notts? I think save the Toby Carvery in Coventry for some good summer sunshine.
Although there is no stopping us going there more than once.

The man has a point, the biggest attended meets always remain in the same place!Andyboy wrote:I would keep your meet in one place. Folk will soon get used to it and it'll become a fixture. That pub was good yesterday - big car park and very good food.
Come the summer months a meet in that location could prove quite popular if you wanted to extend it a other retro cars. Has been murmours of such a meet starting up in the area this year.

Not a bad idea at all actually... Might look at doing a monthly thing for Retro cars at the Forest Rock, I know they wouldnt mind at all... Would have to be a dead night for them though as I could see the car park filling up very very fast.
@Rav - The Cavery is a very good location, and like you say, its good for the southeners too, plus, loads of people already know where it is.
When shall we have another one then?
