hey guys
im thinking of re colouring my leather in my e30 with the furniture clinic kit? is it quite a straight forward procedure or is it tricky to get it all even with out being blotchy etc

I've used Gliptone Liquid Leather to change beige to black. Lasted well but be aware that all dyes rub off on non leather like bolster piping that is in contact with seatbelts. These were done in around 2003 and are with vendetta now. He might have current pics.

wow that looks good i dont mind about the piping, ive got a jet black e30 and i think i wanna go cardinal red as my seats at the mo are a very light cream with red pipeing so the piping might be a slight different color to the seats but will still be red or sorts these are mine what i want to dye

I was in my wee bro's mate's 'dub' VW a while ago. The thing's a munter of the highest order, pisses oil everywhere it goes, lurking rust etc etc. But it does have dyed seats and I was really shocked how bad they looked. It was almost like it had been painted onto the surface but hadn't really penetrated. It's been there for a few years though. It might just be that the car's been put together by someone who's done a bad job but I'll need to see a few good dye jobs before I go down that road myself now.....

im just waiting on delivery of a leathere dye kit for my discovery, to just sort out cracks and wear and make them like new, very good feedback and say it works brilliantly, im a little sceptical but wel see

to be honest... i think that interior looks spot on, its nice condition and looks original and classy, and red leather interior in a black car will look tacky/cheap i reckon, leave it as it is

looks the business i dont dispute, but- yours also looks good and nice original condition, might be a shame to do that to it, if it was worse for wear and realy needed doing any then thats different, just my view
