M50 Thermostat Housing gasket ??

Hi All,

I'm replacing my plastic thermostat housing on my m50 vanos with the one in the link below.

I comes with the profile gasket shown(no8 in the realoem pic) but not the paper gasket for the mounting face (no7).

I have removed the standard plastic one and there is also no gasket present, however when looking on the net it appears they are available.

Should I install one?

You dont need the paper gasket.Its only for housings that dont use the profile gasket.
