My Cabby Turd Restoration Pics Fixed 13/02 and New Added

So I bought a cabby turd a while back and to be fair it was solid, but ran it a bit rought and was filthy and faded so have been working away for the last 4 months trying to bring it back to it former glory.

is this hibsfan's old cabby ? Did it come with tech I front and rear bumpers and a wrong colour horseshoe ?

Yep thats the one, the horseshoe is still wrong color, will get round to that eventually. Tech 1 Bumber is preped for paint as it was a bit of a state, roofs still not too clever either but only a garage queen so will replace that next year if I have the cash.

Its still no where near perfect but mechanically seems sound now, and its clean which if you ever saw it before it was pretty minging.

It was alround a bit of a heap lots of bodged repairs to get it back on the road by the last guy. To my expense its getting there.

I've had a good look at this previously. I assume it got a new engine after it was seized when the sump was cracked and oil warning lights were not heeded.

The bodywork looked rust free, which is a blessing.

I sold a matching blue horseshoe to Alex on here but I assume he's shifted it on as he's canned his Cabby project - it's worth an ask, it was in good nick.

Hopefully I'll get to see the developments at one of our meets this year.

Alex's mate swaped the engine for another donk, its not too bad but after a decent service but might replace it in the future.

Will probably just spray the horshoe as it doesn't need to much effort.

Will see how I get on if it makes any meets this year depends on if it passes the MOT.
