how big is this job to do???? what parts do i need? and how mutch will it cost?????

i have an 87 320i, and i have just dropped in a 2.7eta engine.

id definatley recomend. both engines are jettronic.

easy to do and fairly cheap.

Cheap and easy version is to get a complete bottom end from an E28 525e, fit it up with the motronic engine management sensors and complete top end from your 320, all of which should bolt straight on.
A slight improvement can be had by using a 325 throttle body and inlet manifold, with the 320 ports matched to the manifold.
I have all the above parts in my workshop, just waiting for some spare time for assembly.
A better 327 can be made by fitting the 2.7 crank into a 2.5 block with a 325 head, but there's a lot more machining and other parts needed for this one.
