I'm looking for idea's for my touring interior, not sure where to go with it or leave as is.

Here's a shot to give you an idea:
Image
Grey carpets and headlining, cloth seats, grey loading cover, door cards aren't 100% the leatherette is a little ripped here and there.

I have all the parts to do a elec sunroof conversion as well which incl a black overhead panel - do these come in grey?

Its covers up the sunroof motor I think, you can close the sunroof manually from it.

If you want that black panel you'll need to cut the touring headline to fit it. Also i think the touring headlines are different for manual and e/S versions. So you have 2 choices it seems to me!

When I changed my headlining, I had to specify the leccy. sunroof option, when ordering.

Can all the electric bits fit under the existing manual headlining?

Will put up a pic shortly.
Mine came leccy from the factory, but sure plenty of people have converted, so would say yes.

Your problem with the manual headlining is the big round hole for the winder, rather than the switch hole.

i've got beige sport leather with black door cards in my lazur blue touring; its a good colour combo. Although its a bit shagged, it does looked better than the all grey interior prior. Just need to dye my carpet black now.

Very very tempted to get my beige dyed red. Not bright red, that would look shite, can't remember the name of the e30 red i like.

As Barry (BSS) posted on another thread just this morning, red leather on an E30 is either "Cardinal" or "Crimson".
Crimson is alot "redder" where as Cardinal is browner.
No such thing as "Ox blood" on an E30

I think those highbacks look really uncomfortable - you'd be much better off with some "Comfort" seats - I've got some here if you want to swap  :rolling:

Are they leather?

How hard are the door cars I have to find? 4 door fits touring as well as far as I know?

Yes, door cards are the same.

Front doors are a match to 4-door too, rear doors have different windows.

have you considered having your current interior retrimed? this way could be to the colour of your choice :)

iirc a retrim wont cost you too much more than to buy a second hand leather interior

A retrim is on the cards alright but it wont happen for sometime yet. I got let go from the job Friday, hopefully have enough to finish of the touring with my savings.

Interior is staying as is now. I might have sourced a beige sunroof panel. Seats aren't ever leaving me either btw ;)
