But was it? They showed three obviously tired examples and had some fun. The prices they paid were way on the high side so in effect ours are now worth more to joe public.
They didn't go down the marina route of making the car out to be totally rubbish either. I think we got off lightly.

What your mates saying is how much is that cheap shitter of a sport replica you hardly drive anymore
Ill start the bidding at £100
Giggety Giggety Goo!!!
That's wasn't too bad. Some fair points made. Think we can take a compliment that they all choose e30s
I've just been deluged with various comments on facebook from mates, most taking the p*ss.. most asking me how much I sold my car to Top Gear for - its not even a cab. Retards.

Im glad they did that feature now, I bought my 325i convertible for £1100 with a new roof, full black leather and hardtop. Makes mine look like a bargain. Cheers Top Gear!

They did not do much of a review on the cars.
Would have liked to have seen how they fared in the 0 - 100 - 0 test. Without any concrete.
Was surprised JC cars had weak brakes should have got them renewed.
Hammaonds car's looked AWEFUL.
Horrible alloys, suspension and grille.
May's car looked the nicest.
Couldnt stop laughing when he said it was from a muslim man in birmingham.
Too true about the 94000 miles...........that is did not do that.
Too true about not buying a modified car as well standard OEM specification cars tend to be in better condition.
Was expecting the cars to be smashed up.
Would have like to see a PROPER review of these cars.

Putting to one side the heavily scripted crap from the three morons which the idiot general public lap up (and believe!!!) every week...the POINTLESS reviews of supercars that nowone will ever buy (this week being a Zonda) and the 'challenges'...the bloody 'challenges'...i hope they all do a Hammond-smash next week.
They reviewed three bangers which...in NO WAY glorifies our cars, any of them. You can bang on about prices they paid and the fact they all 'chose' E30's....its called writing and reading a script!!!
...shame, id looked forward to that.
Anyone want to see a proper review should check out the E30 episode of Wheeler Dealers.

Look, it was entertainment using 3 cars allegedly under the 2k mark, face the fact that's all it was for.
Hardly an educational programme for the ill informed.
Next week/month will be another public flogging of another brand of car.
Who actually cares ?????????????????????????????????????

I havnt got a cabby but compared to the rest of them 3 people will think I payed £7000 for mine!!!
That's a positive I suppose lol
But they are just 3 fookin idiots tbh, stig sets a time in a modern 325 and those incompitant fools have to do it in 20 odd year old equivilents?? Fair ish test if the stig drove the e30's don't you think guys?...
I mean I would get much closer to the time in my own car THAN those 3 dicks!

So often on these old car reviews (top gear challenges) they test them knackered or boggo and compare to modern cars, which then canes the supposed sports car of yesterday.. But for a small amount of the new cars annual depreciation you could tune the classic to proper performance
