Can anyone tell me how I should go about removing the headlamp wipers from my facelifted 325 as they're busted and I want to de-clutter the front.
Also, I want to get rid of those little plastic things that the wiper blades rest on, do I need to get new lamp surrounds or will they pull off if I try hard enough?
Thanks, Bob.

wiper motors are held onto the headlamp frame with 2nuts/bolts on each
you can replace the headlamp rings with the standard ones they just unclip from the lights.

The headlamp wiper rests on the ring are screwed on and can be removed, but obviously you'll be left with the holes, OK though for a temp fix until you get some replacements.

I paid about 7 quid each plus VAT for new rings, so about 35 quid all in for four, not cheap but more tidy/clean looking than leaving the rests on.

I'd be prepared to pay for your old rings with stops on, and send you some tidy plain ones. Pm me if you're interested.
