color codeing rubbing strips help

I'm thinking of painting the rubber strips on the doors to match the body work on a withe touring does can any one tell me what paint and primer too use and will the paint last or flake of after a wile thanks

I had mine done by someone else but i know you need to use plastic primer and then the colour of your car. Take your time with it, don't rush and you should have a good out come
